Associate Programs Newsletter #545
Is there something you need a hand with – or advice on – in your affiliate marketing?
Here’s a brand new service from some old hands at Internet marketing and affiliate marketing.
Need some one-on-one help from a marketing expert? This is the new place to go.
But first, a little background…
You may remember that four years ago we announced a new article writing service, Content Kingdom…
========FLASHBACK========================
Drumroll! Ta-da! Announcing…
A new writing service set up just for AssociatePrograms.com readers. This is just for you, dear reader.
It’s a place where you get original articles written specially for you.
At Last! Our New Article Writing Service
The price is a competitive $11 an article standard pricing; and $14 per article for speedy service turnaround.
These rates are very competitive and are akin what people would pay if they had to go through the hassle of finding and training their own writers.
========================END FLASHBACK===
Since early 2009, Content Kingdom has been providing high quality, optimized content of all types…
website content
articles
blog posts
press releases
social networking posts
product reviews
ebooks, etc.
…at very competitive prices. Customers have been very happy with the quality and many order again and again.
They’re pleased with the unique, custom written articles – with NO monthly fees.
David Bloom, the highly experienced Internet marketer who runs Content Kingdom, says:
“Over the years many members have asked us to help them use the content we provide. They weren’t sure how to use the articles, what keywords to focus on, how to generate traffic, etc. So we have been working with many of them individually to maximize their results.
“It dawned on us that perhaps we should make this service available to all of our Content Kingdom members, so that everyone can get the most out of the content they are purchasing.”
Most content providers simply provide content and nothing more. It tends to be very impersonal and once you buy the content you’re on your own to figure out what to do with it.
“That’s not the case with Content Kingdom,” David says.
“We not only offer quality, optimized content of all types, but can also help our members use this content on and off their websites successfully. We can also help with PPC, affiliate marketing, social networking and everything else related to online business.
“From the very beginning we have prided ourselves on our commitment to our members. We are always available and help them out any way we can. With this new service we hope to further our relationship, helping them be as successful as they can be online.”
As David announced in a recent Content Kingdom newsletter…
“Now you can work one-on-one with our experts to help take your business to the next level. Anything you need onsite or offsite, whether it’s a small project or ongoing monthly consultations, the Content Kingdom experts can help. Best of all, just like with our content, we’re going to offer our services at very low prices for our members!”
Here are just a few examples of what the Content Kingdom team of marketing experts are currently helping members with:
1. Site Analysis – Are you using your
content correctly? Are you targeting
the right keywords? Is your site optimized?
Is it Panda/Penguin friendly?
2. Affiliate Marketing – What are the
best programs in your niche? How do
you find a great program? What’s the
best way to promote products/services?
3. Pay Per Click – How does it work?
How do you pick the best keywords? How
do you create an ad? How do you bid?
How do you set a budget? How do you
set up a campaign?
4. Social Networking – Which social
site(s) should you join? How do you do
it? How can it be used to help promote
your business? How do you get people
to follow you?
5. Search Engine Visibility – How do you
get your site to the top of the
rankings at Google, Bing and Yahoo!?
“Basically, anything related to your online business that you need assistance with, the Content Kingdom team can assist with. Whether you need us to show you how to do it yourself, or actually do it for you, we’re here,” David says.
“To get started, just send us an email with your needs, no matter how big or small. We will then put together a custom quote for you.”
The first step is to subscribe to the Content King newsletter.

Eugen’s brave move
================
One powerful way to help ensure you reach an important goal is to go public. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell people on a forum.
If you tell everyone – or maybe just your best friend – what your goal is, it’s then a bit more difficult to goof off and watch TV when you’re supposed to be working towards your goal.
On our affiliate forum, Eugen has taken this move…
500 Euro/month in 6 months challenge

I reckon he’s brave and deserves to get there.
What do you think?
Feel free to give Eugen some encouragement or advice.

Our five-year project
================
(Personal stuff you can safely ignore)
In my early years online, I worked crazy hours, from dawn till about midnight, 7 days a week, which was mad and stupidly unhealthy. Eventually, I saw sense.
For several years now, I’ve been leading a more balanced life, with much more time for family, hobbies and projects.
I reckon it’s important to have at least one project outside your business, to make sure you don’t become too obsessively single-minded.
These days, as well as marketing, I can talk about home renovating and gardening. I can tell you what it’s like to take a sledge hammer to a kitchen, buy a do-it-yourself kit, and create a new kitchen. (It takes LONGER than you expect.)
That’s all been part of one project my wife, Joanna, and I have been doing – off and on – for five years.
In 2008, we bought a vacation home in Cromwell, in New Zealand’s southern lakes district. The house was in serious need of improvement and I thought the project would take my mind off work while providing healthy exercise.
(I prefer the sort of exercise that produces something useful.)
As you can see from the 2088 photo (below) the previous owner was more interested in fishing than gardening. The front and back yards were little more than dust and gravel…
2008: “What have you done? You mean you bought THIS place?” my mother-in-law seems to be thinking.
So we bought a few truckloads of earth…
…put in a lawn, planted a few dozen trees and shrubs, and installed an automatic irrigation system.
Have a look at the progress we’ve made…
2013: It’s amazing what a little work can achieve. Very satisfying, too.
Do you believe in having projects and pastimes? Or are you all work, no play? I’d be interested in your comments.
